satellite: Any object in orbit around another object is called a satellite. The object can be natural or man-made. Moons are often called satellites.
scarp: A scarp is a long line of cliffs formed when the crust of a planet cracks along a fault. As a planet's or moon's surface cooled, the crust would contract or shrink. Sometimes the contraction caused a fracture called a fault. The fault raised one side of the ground. This created a line of steep cliffs.
